Peggy Marie Farris

Peggy Marie Russell Farris, age 74 , a resident of Davis Drive in Columbia, passed away on Sunday, March 11, at her residence.
Funeral services for Mrs. Farris will be conducted Wednesday March 14, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Monday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Maury Co. native was the daughter of the late Oscar and Lula Bruce Russell and the widow of Howard Edward ?Doc? Farris. She was a homemaker and a member of Parkway Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Bettilynn Roy Clark of Mt. Pleasant, Sis Mike Goatz of Columbia, Barbara David Travis of Hampshire, William Michieal Perry Farris , Steve Sherrie Farris and Gina Farris all of Columbia; grandchildren, Jeff Gayla Clark of Murfreesboro, Leigh Ann Chris Hill of Mt. Pleasant, Kristy Tim Scribner, Charlie Emily Phillips Goatz, Carey Marcus Albright, Jenni Jo Jimmy Chatman, Ben Farris and Brent Farris all of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Clark Hill , Katie Hill, A.J. Clark, JonPaul Scribner, Reese Albright, Kennedy Chatman; God-children, Promila Crumley and Cathy Crumley; one sister, Edna Roberts of Mt. Pleasant.
Pallbearers will be Dudley McCormick, Tim Scribner, Chris Hill, Marcus Albright, Jimmy Chatman and Pete Lovell.
Honorary pallbearers will be staff of SNU at Maury Regional Hospital, Dr. Angela Joynes, Radiation Dept at Maury Regional Hospital, Oncology Dept. of Maury Regional Hospital, women of Hats Club, river bunch and U.T. friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Assoc of TN, One vantage Way Suite C-250, Nashville, TN 37228.
