Pauline Norman Moore Pope

Mrs. Pauline Norman Pope, age 82, a resident of Bailey Street in Columbia, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2007, at Rosewood Manor.

Funeral services for Mrs. Pope will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 am in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Born in Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Lena Mae Cummins Norman and wife of the late Daniel Adell Pope and the late Robert James Moore, Jr., the father of her children. She was homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sons, George P. Patricia Moore of Cornersville and Robert Gail Moore of Del Rio; a daughter, Patricia Ann Moore Hann of Lewisburg; two step-sons, Anthony Wanda Gail Pope and Billy Patty Pope, both of Columbia; two sisters, Leona Lyons and Linda Hendrix, both of Columbia; four brothers, Roy Martha Norman of Santa Fe, Floyd Carolyn Norman of Culleoka, Gene Ann Norman and Bobby Minnie Norman, both of Columbia; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; 5 step-grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dot Norman and four brothers, Curley, R.L., Howard and James Norman.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Hann, Kevin Keller, Jeremy Rubert, Anthony Pope, Anthony Pope Jr. and Jeremy Pope. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Lyons, Billy Pope, Rachel Reese, Dr. William Robinson and the nurses and staff of Rosewood Manor.
