Mrs. Pauline Adams Barnett, 85, a resident of the Williamsport Pike in Columbia, died Tuesday April 6, 2004 at her home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Barnett will be conducted Friday, April 9, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Denzel Huff officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Williamson County native was the daughter of the late Sidney and Sally Taylor Adams. She was the wife of Herman W. Barnett for 65 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Church of Nazarene.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Edith Barnett and a son, Wilson Jane Barnett both of Columbia; five sisters, Mrs. Ethel Alexander, Mrs. Wayne Thomas, Mrs. Larry Drumwright, Mrs. Evelyn Lovett all of Columbia, and Mrs. Barbara Ann Hunt of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan Lee Ann Barnett of Bartlett , TN, Jamie Barnett of Columbia, TN, David Jessica Barnett of Collierville, TN, Lori Jane Sean Daniels of Colorado Springs, Co; great-grandchildren, Grason Barnett of Greenville, TN and Emma Barnett of Collierville, TN.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, Mrs. Adrian Harris , Viola Chappell, Virginia Hall, Gertrude Jones and Ruby Parr; a brother, Albert Sidney Adams, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Barnett, Jamie Barnett, David Barnett, Sean Daniels, Billy Wells and Robin Lovett.
