Paul Samuel Andrews

Mr. Paul Samuel Andrews, 66, died Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at his residence on Westover Drive in Columbia.

Funeral services for Mr. Andrews will be conducted Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Bill Mathis and Rick Points. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Ditrick and Mary Charlene Burgess Andrews. He was the husband of Betty Ann McKinzie Andrews. Mr. Andrews was a preaching deacon, promoted Gospel Music in Summertown in which he sang in several quartets. He was a member of Franklin Avenue Christian Center Church of God of Prophecy in Lewisburg.

Ina addition to his wife, he is survived by an uncle, M.C. Witherspoon of Columbia, TN; two cousins, Mary Carroll Hughes of Lubeck, TX and Jo Ann Longoria of Boerne, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Allen and Mary Ruth Dean of Portland, OR; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Kapelski of Highland, IL and Maxie Hill of Columbia, TN; a brother-in-law, RM Kay McKinzie of Columbia, TN.

Pallbearers will be Monty Gilliam, Nicky McKinzie, Matthew McKinzie, Allen Dean, Paul Howard, Clyde Williams, Horton Posey, and James Mathis. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Franklin Avenue Christian Center Church of God of Prophecy, Dr. Stephen Simmons, Dr. Darrel Rinehart, Dr. Gibran Naddy, Dr. John Maloof, Dr. Brian Jackson, and Dr. Robert McArthur.

Memorials may be made to the Franklin Avenue Christian Center Church of God of Prophecy in Lewisburg.
