Mr. Paul Mack Lovett, age 81, a resident of Old Agnew Road in Pulaski, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2009, at NHC Pulaski.
Funeral services for Mr. Lovett will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Jeff Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Hill Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Born in Lawrenceburg, TN, he was the son of the late David and Sadie Kimbrough Lovett. He was a mechanic for Turner and Osborne, loved working on lawnmowers and playing music.
He is survived by a daughter: Shirley Smith of Pulaski; sons: Jimmy Patsy Lovett, Charles Lovett and Dan Tammy Lovett, all of Columbia; sisters: Pearlie Hicks of Illinois, Emma Ingram of Mt. Pleasant and Mary Violet Weaver of Chattanooga, TN; brothers: David Lovett of Culleoka, Edward Lovett of Mt. Pleasant, Leo Lovett of Georgia and Amos Lovett of Chattanooga, TN; sister-in-law Madeline Lovett of Chattanooga; Katherine Daily, the mother of Shirley , Charles, Jimmy and Bobby; Mary Turner, the mother of Dan; Delores Vandygriff Lovett, his special companion. He was preceded in death by a son: Bobby Lovett and brothers: Albert Lovett and Elick Lovett
Pallbearers will be Allen Lovett, Brian Lovett, Wayne Lovett, Chris Lovett, Charles Lovett and Eugene Smith.
