Mr. Paul Jarvis Hull, age 39, a resident of Locust St. in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday at Maury Regional Hospital after an extended illness. Funeral services for Mr. Hull will be conducted Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home with Wendell Robinson and Phillip Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter. Born in Shelbyville, he was the son of William Edward Hull of Columbia and Nancy Dowdy of Mt. Pleasant and husband of Wendy Gevedon Hull. He worked as a probation officer, a manager for Nashville Pet Products, for St. Jude's Children's Hospital and a nurse tech at Maury Regional Hospital. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include: Step-mother, Jean Marie Hull of Columbia; Step-father, Allen Dowdy of Mt. Pleasant; Step-son, John Wayne Gunnels of Mt. Pleasant; Brother, William Edward Lisa Hull, Jr. of Columbia ; Grandmother, Mrs. Cora Lee Porter of Columbia; In-laws, Gary and Faye Gevedon of Shelbyville and a nephew, William McAlister Hull. He was preceded in death by grandparents Abbie Laura and Kenton Jarvis Hull and Paul Roger Ledford. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Sisco, Gary Howell, John Shackelford, Dennis Dungy, John Harris, Neal Smith, Sonny Shackelford, Dr. Shikar Reddy, Dr. David Daniels, Allen Dowdy, Tom Hardin, Mike Kinzer, Phillip Shawn Perkins, David Reagan Perkins, Chris Hull and Jeff Hull.
