Paul Bernard Soden

Mr. Paul Bernard Soden, age 86, a resident of Fieldstone Dr in Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A Naval Memorial service and burial at sea will be held at a later date in Florida. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia will be in charge of local arrangements.
Born in Bonne Terre, Mo, was the son of the late William George and Stella Mae Vetoto Soden. He was the husband of Josephine Helen Breckridge Soden of Columbia. Mr. Soden was a technician with Alcoa and enjoyed playing golf and gardening. He was a Mason, Shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite. He served our country during World War II in United Stated Navy and was of Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter: Suzanne Charlotte Soden Addessi of Virginia Beach, VA; two granddaughters: Erin Suzanne Addessi and Melissa Diane Assessi both of Virginia Beach, VA; great-grandchildren: Brianna Erin Negrete and Jordan Joseph Negrete both of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister: Bonnie Mae Vernon Metcalf of Maryville, IL. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters: William George Soden, JR., Francis Soden Dunnaway, Isabel Soden Wachter and Anabel Soden Durbin.
