Patrick Glenn Kelley

April 11, 1970 — September 18, 2014

Patrick Glenn Kelley, age 44 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away suddenly Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Pat was born April 11, 1970 to the late Joe Howard Kelley and the late Mary Evelyn Davis Kelley in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the husband of Cynthia Ann Davis Kelley. Pat attended Mt. Pleasant High School, and once worked at Terry’s Painting with his brother. He was a member of Sandy Hook Church of Christ. He will be remembered by his huge heart that he had for everyone, and the fact that he never met a stranger. His short trips into town often turned into hours, as he would meet with people and visit over great conversation.

The family will visit with friends on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. A Celebration of his life will be conducted on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Jeff Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow at Watts Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy “Merm” Morgan and members of Sandy Hook Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Kelley of Mt. Pleasant; sons, Byron Lee (Melanie) Davis of Columbia and John-Patrick Davis Kelley of Mt. Pleasant; granddaughters, Alohi Davis, Leilani Davis, and Keilani Davis; brother, Terry (Sandra) Kelley of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Connie (James) Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews, Joshua (Stefanie) Kelley, Tabitha (John) Schreiber, Carly (Jimmy) Owens, and Maegan (Daniel) Grooms; one great niece, Evelyn Grace “Gracie” Kelley; and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his twin sons Ethan Allen Kelley and Aaron Tyler Kelley.
