Patricia “Pat” Gail Medley-Pipkin-Vasecka, age 61, passed away March 20, 2016 at Lakewood Health Care in Staples, Minnesota. Pat was born in Pikeville, Tennessee on October 22, 1954 to the late Ella Mae Prater and JC (Ceburn) Medley.
Pat was a devoted mother to her children and an avid animal lover. She was a very loving woman who lived life to the fullest. She was passionate about gardening and canning. She loved music and really enjoyed dancing the night away. Pat cared for many people and loved them as if they were her own blood. She touched many lives in various aspects, and will be deeply missed by many.
A memorial service in her honor will be held Friday March 25th beginning at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. The family will receive friends from noon till service time.
Pat is survived by her husband: Frank Vaskeca of Motley, MN; son: Michale Christian of Pikeville, TN; daughters: Jessica Nicole Pipkin and Whitney “Paige” (Shanell) Pipkin, both of Columbia, and Brandina Perez of Denver, CO; step daughter: Crystal Vasecka (John) Clancy of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren: Tiffany Christian of Pikeville, TN; Mathew, Haiden and Austen Pipkin all of Motley, MN; Sylas Kayne Pipkin of Pulaski, TN; Riley and Kiera Clancy both of Minneapolis, MN; she is also survived by her brothers: JC Medley, JR. of Columbia, TN; Clinton (Angie) Medley of Etheridge, TN; Troy (Sharon) Medley of McMinnville, TN; Lastly she is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, special life-long friend: Vickie Bouldin Simpson of Smithville, TN; also many friends and loved ones. She is also survived by Cadena Crist, who was beloved as a daughter.
Pat was preceded in death by her mother: Ella Mae Prater; father: JC (Ceburn) Medley; brother: Randall Lee Medley; grandfather: Otto Prater; and grandmother Flore Bell Bouldin; grandparents: Parker and Myrtle Medley.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to cover funeral expenses.
