Patricia Ann Escue, 54, of Summertown passed away Wednesday, October 3, at her home after an extended illness.
Trish was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother who according to her husband, was “the perfect woman”. Many of his friends and family agreed with him whole-heartedly. An example of how she serves others is shown in the Penny March for Kids that she organized for her church children’s department. These funds were used to provide special events for the students of her church, Himestown Christian Church. She also enjoyed sending greeting cards to brighten the days of her friends and family.
Her whole life changed upon the birth of her first grandchild, Hope. Their special fun thing together was to go to yard sales together. Her world began to revolve around this special girl.
Trish was the loving wife of Sammy Escue and mother of Shonda (David) Fletcher of Hohenwald, Allen (Haley) Seiber of Summertown. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Dee (Tammy) Escue of Waynesboro, Marsha (Red) Owen of Theta, her father James F. Pitts, brothers, Michael (Peaches) Pitts of Centerville and David (Dreama) Pitts of Hohenwald and her sister, Brenda Holloway with whom she was especially close. She was the nana to 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
