Pamela "Pam" Mae Perdue

Pamela “Pam” Mae Perdue, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Signature Health Care in Columbia.

A celebration of life memorial service for Pam will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Crossed Timbers Church, located inside Osborne Studios at 376 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, Tennessee with a meal to follow.

Pamela was born on November 11, 1954 in Wauseon, Ohio to the late Wendell Ray Perdue and Mae Thompson Perdue. She was born on Flag Day and her dad said, “I had a daughter and everyone is flying a flag for her!” Pamela worked as shift manager at Love’s and spent several years in retail management at K-Mart, Speedway, and T/A. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing and loved to play softball. Pamela was a wonderful person, had a great smile, and was always smiling. She was artistic, enjoyed making crafts, crocheting, making pillows, and drawing. Pamela always loved to help people bond together and get a long, she was a true peacemaker. She was close to her family and had a large garden they worked together which brought them closer together.

Pamela is survived by her mother Mae Thompson Perdue of Lyons, Ohio; brother Wendell Perdue “Bubs”, Jr. of Lyons, Ohio; sisters Lori Ann Perdue of Fayette, Ohio and Janet Lynn Perdue of Lyons, Ohio; nieces and nephews: Bobby, Jason, Jessica, Lyndell, Justin, Crystal, Brandon, and Kassandra.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father Wendell Ray Perdue; sister Dorene Perdue Morgan; nephew Devin Perdue; grandparents Kelly and Dora Thompson and Zula Mae Tuggle Perdue; and her beloved puppy who was the love of her life whom she call “Puppy.”
