Pamela “Nanny” Sue Laws, age 51, passed away suddenly Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Pamela was born June 4, 1962 in Lawrenceburg, TN, to the late Billy and Janette Bergin. Pamela is a caring mother of six. Her job has always been to love and care for her children, grandchildren, friends and anyone else who needed care. She was belovedly known as “Nanny” by most of those she cared for or knew, either by cooking, housekeeping or disciplining. Her personality was one of love, if she wasn’t caring for someone she was making someone else laugh and smile. She could talk to any stranger and have them laughing by the time they parted. She was everything and more than anyone could ever want in a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Pam is survived by her: sons: Jeremy Jacobs and Benjamin (Julianna) Jacobs; daughters: Jodie Laws, Jamie Laws, Jericca Laws, and Jillian Laws; grand daughters: Maddey Jacobs, Ashlynn Jacobs, Leelee Laws, Peyton Knowles, Jacee Giles, Anna-Leigh Garland, and Kaycee Mitchell; grandson: Landon Burchell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside service, given by family, for Pamela will be held Saturday May 17 at 5:00 PM at the Laws-Crabb Cemetery.
