Pamela Faye Boshers

July 10, 1960 — March 26, 2010

Pamela Boshers, age 49, wife of Mark Boshers and loving mother of Ashley Boshers Mabry and Eric Boshers passed away at home surrounded by family on March 26, 2010 after a courageous battle with leukemia at her residence at 93 Darden Place, Columbia, TN.

Funeral services for Pam will be conducted Monday, March 29th at 2:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Steve Swango, Rev. Brandon Stutts and Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pamela was born on July 10, 1960 to the proud parents of the Billy Joe Filson and Marie Filson. She married Mark Boshers on August 18, 1979. She is preceded in death by her dad, Billy Joe Filson and her brother Terry Wayne Filson of Columbia. She graduated from Columbia Central High School in 1979 and worked most recently for the Maury County School Board as a substitute teacher for many of the schools in the Columbia area. She was a member for many years of Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Columbia, TN.

Even though she fought many health battles over the years she loved life and enjoyed the fellowship of many friends and family. She appreciated those who supported her with prayers and kindness and the family also wishes to express their thanks to everyone for that support.

Survivors in addition to her husband of 31 years, include: her children, Ashley Greg Boshers Mabry of Lexington Park, Maryland, Eric Boshers, her mother Marie Filson, Grandmother Jennie Filson resident of Life Care in Columbia, TN, Mother-in law Margie Boshers, Brother-in law Mike Boshers of Pulaski, TN, Sister-in law Penny Filson, aunts, uncles, niece and many nephews around the Columbia Area.

Pallbearers will be Mike Boshers, David Vick, Jeremy Filson, Bryan Filson, Anthony Bardwell, Billy Manier, Tommy Stanfill and Randy Arthur.

Honorary Pallbearers include members of Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, those she worked with at the Maury County School Board and her associates she worked with at Wal-Mart for 5 years, Columbia Fire Department in honor of the late Capt. Billy Filson.

Memorial donations may be made to Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 109 East 17th Street, Columbia, TN 38401.
