P.A. Fitzgerald

June 28, 1931 — January 10, 2005

Mr. P. A. Fitzgerald, 73, a resident of Bigbyville Road in the McCains Community, died Monday, January 10, 2005 in Columbia.

Funeral service for Mr. Fitzgerald will be conducted Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating . Burial will be in the Gibsonville Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Marshall County native was the son of the late John and Maggie Agent Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald was a farmer and a former self-employed construction worker and remodeler. He was former volunteer fire fighter for the Mynders community and an avid fisherman. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by two sons, Charles E. Fitzgerald of Columbia TN and Clay Kathy Fitzgerald of Goodspring, TN; grandchildren, Charles Fitzgerald, II of Bigbyville Community, James Tally Fitzgerald of Williamsport, TN and Kimberly Dawn Fitzgerald of Marietta, GA; two sisters, Willie Mae Jeff Buell of Columbia and Frances Fitzgerald of Lewisburg TN; a brother, Clarence Dorothy Fitzgerald of Columbia TN; a special friend, Fronie South of Columbia, TN; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Kelly Fitzgerald.

Pallbearers will be David Helton, Ricky Hobby, James Hobby, Andy Harris, Johnny McGaw, Joe Wayne Gilliam and Monroe Hobby.

Honorary will be Larry Agent, Dr. Bain, Harold Johnson, Johnny Cothran, and friends of the McCains Community.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of The Highland Rim, 2014 Elmer Pogue Drive, Columbia, TN 38401.
