Ollie Lloyd Anderson

January 20, 1932 — February 20, 2008

Mr. Lloyd Anderson, age 76, a resident of Harris Street, passed away Wednesday, February 20, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Anderson will be conducted Saturday Feb. 23, at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Steven McCollum officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with a Masonic service conducted at 7:00 P.M.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Tillman Anderson and Shellie Blankenship Anderson and husband of Betty Carroll Anderson. Mr. Anderson was retired from Decaturville Sportswear in Decaturville, TN. He was instrumental in starting the Masonic Lodge #586 in Parsons, TN and was a member of the Scottish Rite in Memphis, TN and was due his 50-year pin.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Tony Jean Anderson of LaFayette, TN, Michael Dolores Anderson of Parsons, TN, Joanna John Horst of Columbia; grandchildren: James Sonia Anderson of Tucson, AZ, Melissa Barry Autry of Parsons, Tracie Bryan Crawford and Stephen Nikki Anderson, both of Carrollton, KY; great-grandchildren: Stone Autry, Presley Autry, Cole Crawford, Ross Crawford and Laini Anderson; two sisters: Bonnie McMahan of Mulberry, FL and Juanita Billy Brown of Columbia; Special aunt, Leola Blankenship of Lawrenceburg. Special friends: Eugenia Posey, Ann Clark, Ollie and Brenda Montgomery, Bud and Betty Graves, Ernestine Rudd and Linda Bass.

Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Masonic Lodge #586 in Parsons, TN, Bill Daughtery and Tom Stegall.
