Norman Vicknair, Jr., age 65, a resident of Chickasaw Trail, passed away on Sunday, September 27, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Services for Mr. Vicknair will be held at a later date in Louisiana.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of local arrangements.
The New Orleans, LA, native was the son of the late Norman Vicknair, Sr., and Katherine Demara Vicknair Arena. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Norman was a former police officer and most recently had worked as a security guard. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his children: Connie Vicknair of Metairie, LA, Barry Vicknair of LaPlace, LA and Keith Vicknair of Harahan, LA; one granddaughter: Alexis Lynn Vicknair of LaPlace, LA; one sister: Joanna Vicknair of Pontchoula, LA, one step-brother: Joseph Arena of GA and his faithful English Lab, Jake.
