Norma J. Cruz

Ms. Norma J. Cruz, 74, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Life Care Center of Columbia.
Norma was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on January 1, 1938 to the late Carlos J. Cruz and the late Andrea Colon-Cruz and was one of seven children.
She was an executive secretary in the shipping industry for many years.
Ms. Cruz was a member of Sagrados Corazones Church in Puerto Rico. Being translated, Sagrados Corazones is an apt description of Norma, as she was truly a “sacred heart.” She was dearly loved by her siblings and the rest of her family.
The family will celebrate Norma’s life at a later date at the family church, Sagrados Corazones in Puerto Rico and she will be inurned near her parents at the church cemetery.
Ms. Cruz is survived by her siblings: Nixida Cruz-Heredia, Rita Cruz-Feliciano, Harry Cruz and Olga Cruz-Negron and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings: Angie Negron and Carlos Cruz.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped, in one way or another, and prayed for our sister during this difficult time.
