Norma J. “Nannie” Conner, age 72, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, gained her angel wings on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Norma was born February 2, 1942 to the late William B. Toseland and Sarah Bell Sharp. Norma was the greatest mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother in the world. She was fondly known as “Nannie.” She had a special love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Marshall County Church of Christ.
Norma’s family wishes to send their gratitude to their beloved mother and grandmother for her ever constant unconditional love.
The family will visit with friends on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be conducted at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Georgina Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
Norma is survived by her daughters Chrislynn Conner, Roasie Conner, Cynthia (James) Bennett, Judy Bills; devoted son-in-law Edward Maurice Bills; grandson Vincent Conner; granddaughter Brittany Conner; grandsons Cory Conner, Demarcus Conner, J.D. Conner, Antonio Cathey, Steven Conner, and Michael Conner; great-grandsons Kamron Conner and Zamarious Conner; great-granddaughter Caybrianna Conner; great-grandsons Bryson Conner, Bentley Conner, and Zayden Conner; five step-grandchildren, Zier Wells, Ciandra Wells, Nina Wells, Bre'anna Davis and Reign Maynard; her sisters Nell Conner, Dorothy Brunner; and her brothers Philip, David Ray, and William Toseland, her step-son Danny Conner.
Norma is predeceased in death by her husband George Conner, her father William B. Toseland, mother Sarah Bell Sharp, and brother Morgan Toseland.
