Nina Hardison Stanford

March 1, 1911 — December 7, 2002

Mrs. Nina Hardison Stanford, 91, a resident of Mahon Rd. in Columbia, died Saturday, December 7, 2002 at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stanford will be conducted Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at the Williams Columbia Funeral Home with Mike Greene officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Alice Jones Hardison. She was the wife of N.J. Stanford for 63 years, who is a resident of Sterling House. She was a retired Stenographer from the Social Security Office in Columbia and a member of the Northview Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Nina Hausmann of Columbia and Suzanne Charles Gunter of Johnson City, Tn.; a sister, Alta Hardison King of Birmingham, Al.; five grandchildren, Emily Thaddaeus Hill of Riverhead, NY., Nina Troy Massey of Hermitage, Dr. Jim Tammy Hausmann of Nashville, David Gunter of Johnson City and Ramonda Chad Scott of Jackson.; six great-grandchildren, Anna, Alyssa and Amellia Hausmann, Kaela and Cole Massey and Graham Scott.

Active pallbearers will be Joe Roberson, Monroe McMeen, Randell Rummage, Billy Glynne Rummage, Everett Lowe, and Wayne Hardison.

Honorary pallbearers will be Elders & Deacons of Northview Church of Christ, Jack Journey, Caswell Hayes, Clinton Damron, and Jimmy Damron.

Memorials may be made to Columbia Academy or to the Hospice of Highland Rim.
