Nick Hodge

January 15, 1932 — November 30, 2006

Mr. Nick ?Jr.? Hodge, age 74, a resident of Hodge Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Hodge will be conducted, Monday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Dickey Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Blowing Springs Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Mt. Pleasant native was the son of the late George Nick and Cora Lucy Workman Hodge and husband of the late Anita Joan Frizzell Hodge. He was a welder for Mid-Tn Steel and Davis Pug Mill. He was a member of Porter?s Chapel Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Jackie Massey of Mt. Pleasant; two sons, Nicky Tina Hodge and Mark Barbara Hodge, both of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Mickey Melinda Hodge, Tiffany Ray Brawner, Karen Steve Riggins, Nickolas Brittany Hodge, Brittney Hodge, Cole Hodge, Ashlyn Todd Fields, Kyle Craig all of Mt. Pleasant, Brad Jennifer Hodge of Hohenwald, Chris Crystal Bennett and Megan Braxton Miller, both of Columbia; great grandchildren, Justin Hodge, Amy Carson Brawner, Jancin Brawner, Kinnon Finerty and Baylee Fields all of Mt. Pleasant, Skyler Miller of Columbia; sisters, Carlene William Fitzgerald, Margaret Wood and special sister and caregiver, Lucy Davis, all of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Clinton Hodge and Glenn Hodge, both of Mt. Pleasant; mother-in-law, Lucy Wood Frizzell of Michigan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald Frizzell, Judy Frizzell Forestall and Janet Marley, all of Michigan; special niece and caregiver, Monica Wright; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Julie Nelson, a brother, Gus Hodge and a brother-in-law, Richard Frizzell.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Hodge, Ray Brawner, Steve Riggins, Nickolas Hodge, Brad Hodge, Chris Bennett, Braxton Miller and Richard Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Workman, R.L. Workman, Horton Jones, Bobby Joe Davis, Dr. Couch and staff, Caris Home Health Care staff-Tracy Henson, Elizabeth Groves, Brenda Vogel and Brenda Honey.
