Nettie Lee Bolton

Mrs. Nettie Lee Collins Bolton, age 95, a longtime resident of Red Row in Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Columbia Care and Rehab.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bolton will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. William Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends from 4:00 ? 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The Giles Co. native was the daughter of the late Pete Turner Collins and Susie Adams Collins and the widow of John Howard Bolton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Betty Roy Grooms, Ethel Junior Nolen, Harry T. Faye Bolton and Robert Barbara Bolton all of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Susie May Mosley, of Mt. Pleasant and Elizabeth Calvin Powers of Athens, AL; two brothers, Jack Collins of Mt. Pleasant and Pete Collins of Columbia; 24 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-laws, Wilma Jean Nolen Bolton Brown and Jean Powell Bolton. She was preceded in death by two sons, J.P. Bolton and James Howard Bolton; one brother, Buddy Collins; two sisters, Estelle Collins Bolton and Annie May Collins Brown.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Bolton, Dwayne Grooms, Dewayne Bolton, Johnny Nolen, Bob Bolton, Jamie Bolton, Roger Lee Bolton and Pete Bolton.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, Jimmy Hyatt and Ricky Grooms.
