Nellie Sue Nance Fagan

Nellie Sue Nance Fagan, age 89, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.

Nellie was born in Maury County December 17, 1926 to the late Jim Holt and Susie “Dale” Holt. Nellie was a caretaker. She loved to care for her flowers, yard, and family. She loved growing and preening flowers and landscaping her yard to perfection. She even won “yard of the month” in Lewisburg, Tennessee, Twice. She loved her dolls and knitting. Nellie was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Nellie is survived by her husband: Billy Fagan of Lewisburg; sons: Larry Nance and Mike (Michelle) Nance of Columbia; grand sons: Aaron (Bethany) Nance, Daniel (Demetria) Nance, and Chris Nance; Jennifer (Aaron) Vannasse, Renae (Greg) Vernon, and Megan Wright; 8 great grand children; sisters: Juanita Thompson, Martha Love, and Betty Fay Crockell; brothers: JC Holt, Harold Holt, and Jimmy Ronald Holt; and sister-in-law: Pat Holt.

Nellie is preceded in death by: her parents; sisters: Ruby Andrews and Doris Grimes; brother: Gary Holt; brothers-in-law: Charles Grimes, Cordie Andrews, and Sherll Cockrell, and William Love; first husband: Charlie Nance; and daughter-in-law: Patsy Nance.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 8, 2016 from 4:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Services will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. also at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.

Pallbearers include: Daniel Nance, Aaron Nance, Bill Love, Randy Thompson, Tim Holt, JC Holt Jr., Chris Kidd, Mike Kidd, Jacob Love, Drew Love, Joshua Love, and Brent Holt.
