Nathan Wayne Belvin, age 76, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Countryside Health Care in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Nathan was born July 20, 1941 to the late Garland Belvin and the late Lovena Bale Belvin in Roby, Texas. Nathan was a graduate of Lawrence County High School class of 1959. Following high school he earned his Associates degree from Columbia State Community College.
Nathan served his country in the United States Marines Corps. He retired from Union Carbide. Nathan was a past resident of Presbyterian Villas in Tampa, Florida where he still has numerous friends. He was a member of the Cloverdale Congregational Methodist Church in Lawrenceburg. Nathan was a no frills kind of person. Never a materialistic man, he was generous in nature. He was always willing to lend a hand or help other however he could.
Nathan is survived by his wife of many years Daphne Belvin; daughters: Suzette (Tony) Williams and Kimberly (Kevin) Yates; grand daughters: Lauren and Natalie Yates; brother: Darrell (Cathy) Belvin; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
