Mrs. Narvie Lou Ragsdale McCandless, age 50, a resident of South Main Street in Columbia, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28, in Centennial Medical Center.
Funeral services for Mrs. McCandless will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the House of Prayer Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Pruitt and Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Santa Fe Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 5:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia and on Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until time of services at the church.
The Maury Co. native was the daughter of the late Jessie and Bessie Kelley Ragsdale and the wife of Daniel McCandless who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the House of Prayer Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband include two brothers: Richard Truman Ragsdale of Columbia and Kenneth Lee Linda Ragsdale of Summertown; six sisters: Esther Mae R.L. Potts of Rutledge, TN, Omie Jewell Larry Potts of Santa Fe, Iris Jean Kelley of Huntsville, AL, Sheryl Kathleen Wray of Mt. Pleasant, Sheila Gwen William Kuner of Gadsden, AL and Cynthia Jeannette Tom Floyd of Columbia; she is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister: Dorothy Marie Sclafani and three brothers: James Arthur Ragsdale, Frank Donald Ragsdale and Douglas C.L. Ragsdale.
Pallbearers will be Frank Wray, P.J. Wray, Wayne Harvey, Chris Sprinkle, William Kuner and Jeremy Hughes. Honorary pallbearers will be David Graves, Timmy Collins, Walker Martin and members of the House of Prayer Baptist Church.
