Nancy Shrader, age 57, resident of the Summertown Community, passed away Wednesday, August 31 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born January 5, 1953 in Lawrence County, daughter of the late Willie Earl and Martha Kilburn Staggs. She had spent her life as a seamstress for Mt. Pleasant Manufacturing and most of all loved caring for her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband: J.T. Shrader of Summertown; sons: John Thomas Shrader of Summertown and Scottie Lee "Scooter" Shrader of Mt. Pleasant; daughter: Crystal Gail Ford of Summertown; grandchildren: Nicole Paige Shrader, John Thomas Shrader III, Eliza Karyl Shrader, Yvonne "Eve" Caroline Ford and Madison Faith Shrader, all of Summertown; siblings: Joyce Cocke of White Bluff, Willadean Ireland of Lawrence County and Romie Staggs of Nashville.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Willie Elmen, Martha Caroline, James Staggs, Dalmer Staggs, Lou Dean Butler, Glen Staggs, JB Staggs, Marvin Mckinly, Wilard Earl, Linda Marrlin, Mary E. Smith, and Elmer Staggs.
A celebration of Mrs. Nancy Shrader's life will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Sunday, September 4 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rodney J. Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Himes Cemetery.
The Family will visit with friends Saturday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
