Nancy Scott, at 84 years of age, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at her residence. She was born on July 9, 1937, to her parents, Hazel Copeland and Beatrice Byrd Copeland in Maury County.
Nancy was a faithful member of Graymere Church of Christ. She worked 22 years at Maury Regional in the records department and then volunteered 22 more years at Maury Regional. She loved to shop, “run around”, travel, dance, and enjoy the beauty of flowers. Nancy never met a stranger; she was truly loved by many. She loved to do volunteer work, wherever she was needed.
She is survived by her children: Tina (Layne) Pullum and Carlton (Suzanne) Scott; grandchildren: Derek (Roxanna) Pullum, Kelli (Chad) Long, Jessica (Clarence) Tucker; great-grandchildren: Cameron Pullum, Jordan Pullum, Presley Long, Kylie Long, and Lakelyn Tucker; cousins: Judy Irwin, Ray Kennedy.
Preceded in death by: her parents: Hazel Copeland, Beatrice Byrd Copeland; husband: Carl Scott; grandson: Hunter Scott; great-granddaughter: Blakely Long.
Her family will be visiting with friends and family on Friday, November 5, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. Service will follow beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Don Mayberry officiating. She will be laid to rest at Arlington cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Cameron Pullum, Jordan Pullum, Chad Long, Derek Pullum, Carlton, Scott, Layne Pullum, and Eddie Scott.
