Nancy Marie King, age 50, former resident of Jackson Heights, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, at NHC Hillview.
Funeral services for Nancy will be conducted Friday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Rev. Dwight Liles officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 4:00 -8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was born October 8, 1959, the daughter of the late Ernest King and Eva Workman King. She was the assistant manager of Domino's Pizza in Columbia and was a member of the Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her sisters and brother: Jane Smith of Nashville, Margaret Ellen Jim Carpenter of Columbia and Gary L. Vicky King of Columbia; Lori Zaragoza Lee of Hendersonville and Clayton Zaragoza of Columbia whom she endeared as her children; aunts: Nora King and Wilma King, both of Mt. Joy, Betty King of Swan Creek, Juanita King of Hohenwald and Tommie Ruth Workman of Madison; one uncle: Donald King of Swan Creek; nieces and nephews: Terry Carpenter of Columbia, Teresa Carpenter of Columbia, Tammy Grooms of Rainbow City, AL, Darrell King of Mt. Pleasant, Tracy Bolton of Columbia, Kevin King of Triune, Shannon Brazier of Nashville, Brittany Legg of Columbia and Brent Smith of Nashville; 12 great-nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother: Harold Dean King.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the Columbia Oncology Group, Maury Regional Medical Center Oncology unit for their extraordinary care, to the staff of NHC Hillview for their attentive care and to the Domino's team for their devoted friendship.
Pallbearers will be Terry Carpenter, Clayton Zaragoza, Kevin King, Brent Smith, Jimmy McGraw, Joe Webb, Don Schmidt and Gary Houseman. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael King, Doug King, and Domino's team members: Dan Garza, Teresa Heiland and Don Brown.
