Mrs. Myrtis Eugenia Howard Mobley Day, age 83, a resident of Sowell Hollow Road in Columbia and a longtime resident of Ashby, WV, passed away on Friday, January 30, at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Day will be conducted 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 1 at the Dunbar Funeral Home, 3926 Devine Street, Columbia, SC with Rev. Henry Mobley officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Columbia, SC.
The family will visit with friends on Friday, January 30, 2008 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ on the Lewisburg Hwy. and at the Dunbar Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 to 9:00 PM

Mrs. Day was born in Columbia, SC, the daughter of the late Wilburn and Myrtis McGrady Howard. She was married to the late Robert Lee Mobley, who preceded her in death in 1949. She was homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Ashby, WV.
She is survived by her children: Diane Crews of Gaston, SC, Tammy Crews of St. Augustine, FL, Robert Lee Barbara Mobley Jr. of Whites Creek, TN, Rev. Henry Betty Jane Mobley of Columbia, TN, Randy Rebecca Crews and Albert Crews, both of Hopkins, SC; a sister: Mrs. Bessie Ellisor of Gaston, SC; brothers: Wilburn Howard and Jack Howard, both of Columbia, SC;13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter: Sarah Mobley. She was preceded in death by a son: James Harvey Mobley and a grandson: Mark Daniel Mobley
Pallbearers will be Henry Mitchell Mobley II, Dustin Damesworth, Ricky McLeod, Nathan Mobley, Randy Crews Jr. and Robert Burton. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ of Columbia, TN
