Mrs. Myrl Regeon Baker, 97, a resident of Audubon Woods Road in Clarksville and former longtime resident of Duck River, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at General Care Convalescent Center in Clarksville.
Funeral service for Mrs. Baker will be conducted Friday, May 5, 2006 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Joe Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in the Stand Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Hickman County, she was the daughter of the late Will Regeon and wife of the late Louis Baker, Sr. She and her husband owned and operated Baker?s Grocery Store for many years and she was also a sitter. She was a member of Shady Grove Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Louis Carol Baker, Jr. of Clarksville; two grandsons, Tim Linda Peden of Columbia and Randy Peden of Hampshire; three great grandchildren, Tim Peden of Columbia, Brooke Peden of Lynnville and Billy Peden of Santa Fe; sister, Grace Hollis of Obion, TN and brother, Dennis Regeon of Nashville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Peden; two brothers, Earl Regeon and John Regeon; a sister, Louise Edwards.
Pallbearers will be Tim Peden, Sr., Tim Peden, Jr., Randy Peden, Billy Peden, David Yates and Doug Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Church, Dozer Hooten and all the members of Shady Grove Church of Christ.
