Mrs. Myra Perry Garbarina, 81, a resident of Haven Drive in Columbia, died Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mrs. Garbarina will be conducted Friday, September 9, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Jim Holland officiating. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Gordonsburg, Tennessee native was the daughter of the late William Isaac and Delia Evaline Brown Perry and the widow of Robert P. ?Gabby? Garbarina. Mrs. Garbarina was a homemaker and former lab tech for Arrow Mines at Mt. Pleasant. She was an avid gardener, loved birds and squirrels, and was a member of Graymere Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Garbarina of Columbia, TN; a brother, Raymond O. Mary Alice Perry of Muscle Shoals, AL; several nieces and nephews; special niece and nephew, Haley and David Foster.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers, Eugene, Mason, Charles, Walton, Vernon, Lee, Tommy and William Perry; one sister, Ethel Mathis.
Pallbearers will be Gearld Foster, Kenny McDonald, Jimmy Holland, Ken Horner, Ken Cathey and Bernie Caperton.
Honorary pallbearers will be L.A. Garrett, Mason Garrett, staff of Confidential Loan and employees of First Farmers & Merchants Bank Kroger Branch.
