Murry Edward Drew

Murry Edward Drew “Ed”, age 82, of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee passed away at his home on Sunday, June 15, 2014.

Ed was born on August 3, 1931 to the late Edd and Ada Drew in Booneville, Alabama. Ed will be having a heavenly reunion with his family that preceded him. He was a member of Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Ed was a talented craftsman and served his country in the United States Army. He was a Godly loving family man, never met a stranger, and loved by all.

Funeral services will be conducted at Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark King officiating. Burial will follow at Bailey Cemetery. Visitation will follow the burial at Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian.

In addition to his loving wife Martha Lee Drew, Ed is survived by his son Chris (Renee) Drew of Roebuck, South Carolina; his daughters Susan (Scott) Boyette of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee and Judi (Dan) Varnson of Dacula, Georgia; his granddaughters Jennifer (Kody) Gildner, Hannah Drew, Olivia Drew, and Ashlee Varnson; his grandsons Rodney Boyette and Thomas Varnson; his great-grandson Parker Lee Gildner; his brother Rev. Edson Drew; and many nieces and nephews.
