Morris F. Boshers

Mr. Morris F. Boshers, 76, a resident of South Cross Bridges Road near Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, April 25, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Boshers will be conducted Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 1:00 pm at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Andrew Roberts and Tol Burk officiating. Entombment will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Don F. ?Pate? and Ina C. McNeece Boshers and husband of Juanita Harris Boshers. Mr. Boshers was a graduate of Hay Long High School in Mt. Pleasant. He was retired with 35 years of service from Occidental Chemical Company and served as a county commissioner for Maury County. After retirement he was a security guard at Maury Regional Hospital and was currently on the board for the Maury County Senior Citizens Center. He was a member and served as a deacon for 40 years at the Jackson Heights Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Sandra Mike Townsend of Dalton, GA; a son, Don H. Lisa Boshers of Mt. Pleasant, TN; 5 grandchildren, Deena Lynn Seon Davis and Michelle Ann Boshers both of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Mitch April Boshers of Hermitage, TN, Jennifer Joey Anton of Lawrenceville, GA, and Greg Townsend of Dalton, GA; 6 great grandchildren, Britlyne, Wyatt, Jaxon, Hayden, Bryson, and Kaylin. ; 2 sisters, Edith Carpenter and Ruth Joe Downey both of Maryville, TN
Pallbearers will be Sherman Massey, Dr. Paul Sands, Doug Arney, Wayne Garner, Tim Garrison, Joe Gordon, Harvey Nicholson, Jeff Nicholson, Dennis Pickering, Billy Tanner, and Larry Yeager.
Memorials may be made to the Maury County Senior Citizens Center, 1020 Maury County Park Drive, Columbia, Tennessee 38401.
