Monte Hugh Knight

Mr. Monte Hugh Knight, age 67, a resident of West Seventh Street in Columbia, passed away on Thursday, November 2.
A private graveside memorial service will be conducted at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Arch Warren officiating. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Maury County, he was the son of the late Walter Montague Knight and Evelyn Stacey Knight. He was the husband of Vickie Lynn Love Knight of Columbia, whom he married on June 11, 1965. He was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and was a Navy Veteran, discharged in 1965. He was a retired salesman and genealogical researcher. He was a member of the Somerset Chapter Magna Charta Barons, the Jamestown Society, the Huguenot Society of Tennessee, among many others.
Survivors in addition to his wife include one daughter: Elizabeth M.K. Richard McDonald of Murfreesboro; one son: Johnathan W.G. Knight of Columbia; four grandchildren: Allison Paige Knight, Taylor Anne Knight and Johnathan Ford Knight, all of Columbia, and Richard E. McDonald IV of Murfreesboro; his step-mother: Margaret Knight of Mt. Pleasant.
Memorial donations may be made to the Maury County Library, 211 West Eighth Street, Columbia, TN 38401 or the American Heart Association, Middle Tennessee Region, 209 23rd Avenue, North, Nashville, TN 37203.
