Mildred White Mitchell, age 88 a resident of Columbia, TN passed away in the early hours Saturday September 1, 2012 in Maury Regional Hospital.
Mildred was born August 9, 1924 in Short Creek, KY to the late Samuel and Cova White. Mildred attended First Family in Columbia. Mildred was a woman of great faith who was very active in her church in your younger years.
Ms. Mitchell is survived by her two daughters: Sally (Ron) Pendley and Barbara (Keith) Blum, both of Columbia; Two granddaughters: Michelle Petrillo of South Carolina and Grace Clausing of Franklin, TN; One grandson: David Blum of Maryland; Two great grandsons: Asher and Grant Clausing both of Franklin, TN.
In lieu of flowers, Ms. Mitchell would ask contributions be given to Friends of Israel. John 4:16 “ Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”
