Mildred S. Jacobs

Mildred S. Jacobs was born August 27, 1940 in Marion Co., GA, the daughter of the late L.J. Scott and Ouida Barrett Scott. On May 26, 1955, Mildred became the wife of Lucien Jacobs of Culleoka. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostals of Columbia.

Survivors in addition to Lucien include their children, Debbie (Tony) Cannata of Noblesville, IN, Ann (Glenn) Smith of Culleoka, Lynn (Joel) Barnes of Noblesville, IN and Danny (Linda) Jacobs of Culleoka; brothers and sisters, E.J. (Melba) Scott of Iron City, GA, Buddy (Donna) Scott of Buena Vista, GA, Dennis (Sheril) Scott of Buena Vista, GA, Michael (Brenda) Scott of Mauk, GA, Gary (Nora) Scott of Buena Vista, GA, Alan (Julie) Scott of Buena Vista, GA, Margaret McKenzie of Columbus, GA, Cathy (Bobby) Wiggins and Merle Wiggins, also of Buena Vista, GA; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by one grandchild, Crystal Cannata Smith , 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Mrs. Jacobs passed away on Thursday, January 10, at NHC Healthcare in Lewisburg.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Bro. Telford Tharp and Matthew Cannata officiating.

The family will visit with friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 P.M. on Sunday at Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
