Mildred Louise Howell

Mildred Louise Howell, a faithful member of the Church of Christ, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012, at the age of 78. She passed away surrounded by the people she held closest to her heart, her family.

Mrs. Howell was born September 1, 1934 to the late Howard & Frances Lee Clymer. After finishing high school, Mildred settled into her Columbia home with her late husband Johnny Howell. Together, the two raised their children Brenda Howell Hogan and the late Kenneth Edward Howell. She was a homemaker, creating a home for her family that made everyone feel comfortable and welcome once they came through her door. In her life she took pride in service to her family and the Lord through her attendance at Mooresville Church of Christ.

Mrs. Howell’s family wishes to invite friends into the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant Friday, September 28, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. The following day, Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, the family will celebrate the life of their mother, grandmother, and sister in Christ.

Survivors include her daughter Brenda (Chris) Hogan of Spring Hill; her grandchildren: Joshua (Catie) Hogan of Spring Hill and Hannah Hogan of Spring Hill. She is preceded in death by her son Kenneth Edward Howell, and her husband Johnny Howell.

Pallbearers will be Mike Dawson, Mark Dawson, Ron Ingram, Cromer Jackson, Tim Hogan, and Scott McKee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garry Green, Jim Linam, Ron Gentry, Johnny Tarrant and David Dawson.

Memorials may be made in honor of Mildred Louise Howell to the Maury Regional Healthcare Foundation Women’s Center Fund.
