Milad A. Georges

Mr. Milad A. Georges, age 79, a resident of Apache Trail in Columbia, passed away on Saturday, February 24, at his residence.

Funeral services for Mr. Georges will be conducted Monday, Feb. 26 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Father Davis Chackaleckal officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Born in Deirmimas, Lebanon, he was the son of the late Abbas and Saada Razouk Abbas and husband of Georgette Abdallah Georges. He was a retired bus driver for the city of Beirut, Lebanon and a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Naji Marilia Gerges of Columbia, Dakhil Marie Gerges of Murfreesboro and David Therese Gerges of Beirut, Lebanon; a daughter, Ladifeh Georges of Franklin; grandchildren, Michael Gerges, Gabriel Gerges, Chris Gerges, Shirley Gerges, Danielle Gerges, Elie Gerges, Eliane Gerges; also survived by three brothers and a sister.
