Mike Nelson Phillips

Mike Nelson Phillips, age 47, a resident of William Glenn Road in Ashland City, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services for Mike will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 4:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
The Davidson County native was born September 4, 1962, the son of Ruby Frame Phillips Carney of Columbia and the late Nelson Thomas Phillips. He worked for A.O. Smith Corporation building water heaters for over 20 years. Mike loved putting model cars together and fishing. He loved children.
Survivors in addition to his mother include a brother: Van Phillips of Spring Hill and his fiancée Misty Jarrett of Columbia; fiancée Linda King of Ashland City; aunt and uncle Robert and Doris Reed of Lewisburg and another uncle Vernon Frame of Ashland City.
Pallbearers will be Brian Jarrett, Vernon Frame, Jr., Jason Davis, Bobby Cox and Terry Crugger.
