Michael Ty Etheridge
June 3, 1998 — April 15, 2005
Michael Ty Etheridge, 6 year old son 0f Michael E. and Christy Ditty Etheridge of Creekstone Drive in Columbia, died Friday, April 15, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Funeral service for Ty will be conducted Sunday, April 17, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Reverend Argine Hughes officiating. Entombment will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral Home.
Ty was in the first grade at Randolph Howell Elementary School. Ty loved horses and cows and referred to himself as an ?artist?, he enjoyed driving lessons, singing, dancing and longed to be a farmer. He enjoyed computer games, playing in his tree house, swinging in his swing and playing with his cousins. He was a member of New Song Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived maternal grandparents, Wayne and Dottie Ditty of Ethridge , TN and James and Maggie Barnett of Columbia, TN; paternal grandparents, Robert and Cathy Kendrick and Ed Etheridge, Jr. all of Columbia, TN; great-grandmother, Gladys Staggs of Summertown, TN; uncle and aunts, Brian Etheridge of Columbia, TN , Debbie Mullins of Fayetteville, TN, Kimberly Ditty of Columbia, TN and Lori and Scott Sadler of Mayo, FL; cousins, Blaine Thomason, Dakota Harris both of Columbia, TN, Coty McConnell of Fayetteville, TN, Katie Grace Sadler of Mayo, FL and Elizabeth Etheridge of Murfreesboro, TN
Pallbearers will be Brian Jones, Darryl Jones, Chris Wallace and Jereme Blalock.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mrs. Heather Demastus? First Grade Class at Randolph Howell Elementary.
He was preceded in death by a cousin, Kayla Michelle Colvett of Mt. Pleasant.
Memorials may be made to the Randolph Howell Elementary Playground Fund or Library Fund 653 Bear Creek Pike Columbia, TN 38401.
