Mr. Michael S. South, 52, a resident of Hatcher Lane in Columbia, died Monday, November 28, 2005 at NHC/Columbia Health Care.
A memorial service for Mr. South will be conducted Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Hank Shelton officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Opal L. South and the late Margaret Garner South McGee. He was self employed in the concrete business and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by three sisters, Glenda Ronnie Lunn of Lynnville, Marilyn Jack Lacroix of Culleoka and Carolyn South of Birmingham, AL; special aunt, Ann Church of Columbia; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Ivey, Bill Harris, Ricky Conner, Mike Rozell, Terry Bowman, James Potts and Danny Lea.
