Mr. Michael R.F. Baker, 27, a resident of First Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Baker will be conducted Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Brother Jim Raines officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Born in Garden City, MI, he was the son of Mary Jo Chambers Baker and the late Robert Floyd Baker. He was a tech at Smelter and self employed in carpentry and masonry. He was a member of the Well Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Marilese Baker and Mikalynn Baker, both of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Lonna Woolford of Westland, MI; brother, Chris Bolton of Mt. Pleasant; paternal grandmother, Sonya Baker of Hampshire; aunts and uncles, Lynn McKibben, Floyd and Jessica Baker, all of Hampshire, Beverly Hunt, Bill and Karol Rice, all of Westland, MI. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Elsie and Cleve Baker and Floyd Baker.
Pallbearers will be Chris Bolton, Daniel Reece, Albert Corlew, Arthur Kinslow, Jessie Nichols and Billy Kelley. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Well Church.
