Michael Ray “Mickey” Chatman, age 61, of Duck River, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at his residence.
Mickey was the son of Raymond C. Chatman and Mary Ingram Chatman and was born on June 7, 1954 in Maury County, Tennessee. He was the foreman at Brick Yard. He enjoyed fishing, and gardening, especially his vegetable garden. Also, he loved attending auctions. He loved “his girls” very much. His dog Lilly was very special to him. He loved his nieces, Hekyl, Jekyl and Bella and thought of them as his grandchildren.
Mr. Chatman is survived by his children: Dustin Chatman, Cheyenne Chatman, Karliey Chatman and Leigh Leigh Chatman; grandchildren: Lucas and Diana Nay; siblings: Howard Davis and Judy (Dodd) Garrett; special friends: Timmy Martin and Cindy Crigger; step-daughter: Samantha Taylor; and grandchildren: Chloe, Charlie and Bella.
Funeral services for Mickey will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Danny Riggins and Bro. Tandy Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkes Cemetery in Culleoka, Tennessee. The family will visit with friends on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
Steve Riggins, Kevin Nunley, Timmy Martin, Dodd Garrett, Mike Meeks and Randy Rose will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be his daughters, Leigh Leigh, Karliey and Cheyenne.
