Merle Bowman Keller, 82, a resident of The Bridge in Columbia and formerly of Memphis, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital.
A celebration of life service for Mrs. Keller will be conducted 11:00 am, Thursday April 6, 2006 at St. Peter?s Episcopal Church with Father Tom Wilson officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am, Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Forest Hill Cemetery, 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis, TN, with Reverend Chas Williams officiating.
Williams Funeral Home of Columbia in charge of arrangements.
Born in Newark, Ark, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lee and Bertha Thompson Bowman and widow of Walter Henry Keller. She worked as a realtor with W.H. Keller Company, Realtors and W.H. Keller Construction Company of Memphis. While residing in Memphis, she was member of St. George?s Episcopal Church and was a member of St. Peter?s Episcopal Church in Columbia.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Robert Bain of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Wally Wanda Keller of Columbia; grandchildren, Amanda Chas Williams and Hank Keller, both of Memphis, Sarah Robin Howell of Columbia and Jonathan Bain of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Amanda Smith of Fresno, CA, Dorothy Keener of Clovis, CA and Betty Bryant of Tulare, CA; a brother, Henry Bowman of Colorado Springs, CO.
