Melody Johnson, 46, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services for Melody will be conducted Sunday, Oct. 15, at 2:00 P.M. in the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Dwain Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 3:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Born in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of Willie Mae Griffis Johnson of Warrington, MO. and the late Roy Gerald Johnson. She attended Florissant Valley Community College and was the co-owner/Sales manager of Willow Advertising and Publishing. She was a member of Maury Co. Women?s Network, BNI, and the Chambers of Commerce of Maury Co., Giles Co., Williamson Co., Lewis Co., Marshall Co. and Lawrence Co.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her partner, Michael Shane of Columbia; one brother, Gary Linda Johnson of St. Charles, MO; one brother-in-law, Robert Bucciri of St. Ann, MO; one niece, Kristen Johnson of St. Charles, MO; one nephew, Erik Bucciri of GA; a special friend, Elizabeth Gene Mefferd of Columbia. She was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Bucciri and a niece, Jessica Bucciri.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Williamson Co. BNI, Maury Co. Women?s Network and Maury Alliance and employees of Willow Advertising and Publishing.
