Meghan Monroe

Meghan “Meg” JoAnne Monroe of Columbia, TN formerly of Culleoka, TN and Allen Park, MI went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 13, 2024. 

Meghan was born November 21, 1981, to the late Gordon and Saundra "Binkley" Monroe, survived by brothers Keith (Nancy) Monroe, Ken (Jackie) Monroe, Kirk (Correna) Monroe, and Brad Monroe. 

For those who knew Meghan, it was evident to them that her joy came from “the kids” (13 nieces and nephews, and 2 great nieces and nephews) family visits, and the anticipation of, as well as Southern Gospel Music. 

Meghan worked at McDonald's as a Shift Manager for 23 years, starting in Southgate, MI, and then in Columbia, Tennessee. Meghan’s loud laugh, love of movies, and her talking about family memories will be missed. She was a member of First Baptist/The First Family of Columbia and a pal to many of the Senior Adult Class Members. 

A graveside service will be held at Polk Memorial Gardens on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 2:30 PM with her brother, Kirk giving her eulogy. 

Pallbearers will be Ken Monroe, Brad Monroe, Nick Monroe, Gordon Monroe, Peyton Monroe, Landon Monroe, Brett Hall, and Jacob Alea. Jr. Pallbearer, Matthew Monroe.
