Mrs. Maxine Mae ?Peg? Hamm, age 85, a resident of Hampshire, passed away on Monday, November 13, at her residence.
A graveside memorial service for Mrs. Hamm will be conducted on Tuesday, November 21, at 10:30 Am in the Bella Vista Cemetery in Bella Vista, AR with Pastor Dick Lindman officiating. Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
The Newton, Kansas, native was the daughter of the late John McNeal and Edith Smith Nebergall and the wife of the late Polk Hamm. She was a Claims Adjuster in the insurance industry. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW in Kansas. She was an avid golfer, bridge player and was a member of the Bella Vista Community Church.
Survivors include one son, Gerald Mary Hamm of Hampshire; one grandson, Brian Becky Hamm of Hampshire; two brothers, Jim Betty Nebergall of St. George, CO and Russ Ruth Nebergall of Hesston, KS; a brother-in-law, Bud Denney of Guymon, OK. She was preceded in death by a brother, Preston Earl Nebergall and a sister, Hildred Denney.
