Mrs. Maurine Murphy Bullock, a long time resident of Gainesville, Fla., passed away on Saturday, November 1, at the home of her daughter in Columbia.
Graveside services for Mrs. Bullock will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at the Forrest Meadow Cemetery, East, in Gainesville, Fla.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:30 – 1:00 P.M. at the cemetery chapel.
Williams Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of the local arrangements.
A native of Pinkard, Ala, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Lee Murphy and Ethel Belle Robinette Murphy. Mrs. Bullock was a retired substitute school teacher and also a school cafeteria worker. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children: Charlotte Don Young of Columbia; Mike Brenda Bullock of Tallahassee, Fla., and Jim Peggy Bullock of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren: Erin Hyle of Memphis, Tiffany Bullock of Atlanta, Ga., James Ryan Bullock of Washington, DC, Tyler Bullock of Brentwood, Scott Bullock of El Paso, Texas,, David Bullock of Tallahassee, Fla., Donnie Bullock of Live Oak, Fla., Charles Bullock of Gainesville, Fla., and Natalie Bullock of Live Oak, Fla.; one sister: Mildred McNab of Dothan, Ala., and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by a brother: Leonard Murphy.
Grandsons and friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
