He was born in Columbia, Tennessee on October 7, 1958 to the late Maurice Edward Cox, Sr. and Geraldine Holcomb Cox who survives him. He held a bachelor’s degree and worked as a Site Inspector for the State of Tennessee, Department of Environment and Conservation.
He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Holcomb Cox.
