Mrs. Mattie Watson South, 94, a resident of Dry Creek Road in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at Hidden Acres Nursing Home.
Graveside services for Mrs. South will be conducted Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Rick Points officiating. Williams Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late
Ben and Eva Bennett Watson. She was a homemaker and farmer.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Gray of Nashville, Joyce Robert Eastman of Freemont, CA, Faye Larry Cummins of Mt. Pleasant, Sharon David Pulliam of Phoenix City, AL; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; loving caregiver, Kathy Cotton of Summertown. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Watson.
Pallbearers will be family members.
