Mattie L. Kimball

Mrs. Mattie L. Kimball, 95, a resident of Chestnut Ridge Rd. in Columbia died Friday, October 10, 2003, at NHC Columbia.
Graveside services for Mrs. Kimball will be conducted Monday, October 13, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. at Houston Whitworth Cemetery, in Shelbyville, with Rick Points officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Haley, TN, she was the daughter of the late James Jackson and Lottie McCarver Phillips and wife of the late William Preston Featherstone, Sr. and the late Kenneth Eugene Kimball. She was a housewife and did tatting for friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Preston Margaret Featherstone of Bell Buckle, TN and Joe Bonnie Featherstone of Columbia; a daughter, Betty Jack Young of Lacey, WA.; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a son-in-law, Jim Brazier of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Clareece Marie Brazier.
